Cheshire has its very own honey blended gin
Cheshire residents now have the opportunity to try their latest gin, this time blended with honey from local bees.
Alex Conti, Director of The Apiarist Gin Company said:
“We have strong family roots in Cheshire and have been spending time nurturing a swarm we rescued there. The colony thrived this summer, and has produced a few extra kilos of honey which is enough for a limited run of our gin. We are looking forward to sharing this blend with Cheshire inhabitants, but the run will be limited to only 60 bottles for this first batch, so we don’t expect they will be hanging around for long.”
Following the successful debut of The Apiarist Gin, which featured in The Independent’s ‘Best flavoured gin 2020’, the collection has expanded with the Forager edition, featuring autumnal elements from local hedgerows. The latest from this creative boutique is the limited Cheshire blend, shortly available online. Each bottle is infused with raw honey gathered from the nectar of 100,000 Cheshire flowers.
This unique gin delivers rich, sweet honey notes with vibrant lemon and Da Hong Pao tea flavours. It is best enjoyed with a premium Indian tonic and a slice of lemon – but the fun of enjoying gin is that you can make it your own with various mixers and garnishes.
Priced at £39 per bottle (700ml) plus P&P, this affordable luxury is available for pre-order online at www.theapiaristgin.com
